EDUCATION & PROTECTION

Education & Protection

At Morichika Welfare Society, our Learning Centre in Nichebasa Village, Gulma Tea Garden serves as a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly space where children and adolescents can learn, grow, and thrive. Located in our adopted community, the centre supports those from vulnerable and marginalized families through an integrated approach that combines quality education, child protection, life skills, nutrition, sports, and psychosocial well-being.

Sports & Skill Development

At Morichika Welfare Society, we believe that sports are a powerful catalyst for social change and holistic development. Through our Sports for Development Programme, we create safe and inclusive opportunities for children and adolescents - especially girls from tea garden and forest-fringe communities - to build confidence, resilience, discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

At Morichika Welfare Society, we are committed to combating malnutrition and preventable health challenges among children, adolescents, women, and vulnerable families living in tea garden and forest-fringe communities. Who We Are

Morichika Welfare Society is a philanthropic nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of underprivileged children, adolescents, and women through integrated programmes in education, health, nutrition, child protection, skill development, sports, and sustainable livelihoods.

We believe that every child and adolescent has the right to survive, learn, grow, and thrive with dignity. Guided by this belief, we work to ensure that vulnerable children and families can access their rights, entitlements, and opportunities for a brighter future.

Our initiatives provide supplementary nutrition to combat malnutrition, promote preventive healthcare, strengthen education, and create safe, supportive environments where children can reach their full potential. We also empower adolescent girls and women through vocational training, life skills, and livelihood opportunities that foster economic independence and self-confidence. Through sports, we inspire children and adolescents to build discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience, helping them become healthy, confident, and responsible citizens.

Together, we are building healthier lives, stronger communities, and a future where every child, adolescent, and woman has the opportunity to thrive.
