Promoting health awareness, hygiene education, and access to primary medical services in tea garden communities.
Good health and proper nutrition are the foundations of learning, productivity, and a dignified life. However, many families living in the tea gardens and forest-fringe communities of North Bengal continue to face limited access to quality healthcare, nutritious food, and health awareness. Poverty, geographical isolation, and inadequate health services often lead to preventable illnesses, malnutrition, anaemia, and poor child development.
Morichika Welfare Society is committed to improving the health and nutritional well-being of children, adolescents, women, and vulnerable families through community-based healthcare, nutrition support, and preventive health education. By combining direct services with awareness and government linkages, we aim to build healthier and more resilient communities.
